SCREENING Nurse
initially
All women age 24-65 are
invited to the Well Woman Clinic for a Cervical Smear test every 3-5 years (as appropriate), together with a general health
check and advice.
Men are also invited
for a Well Man check, and are encouraged to take this opportunity to learn about their health needs and any action you and
we can take to keep you healthy!
CHILD HEALTH
& IMMUNISATION Dr & H/V
We recommend full immunisation
and regular development checks for all pre-school children.
ADULT IMMUNISATION Nurse
Tetanus & Polio immunisation
should be kept up to date, you may be at risk of Hepatitis B, and foreign travel is safer with the appropriate immunisations
and advice Please discuss with the Nurse in plenty of time.
MINOR SURGERY
Doctor
We perform a full range
of minor surgical procedures under local anaesthetic, and also arrange Cryocautery of warts and verrucae from time to time.
FAMILY
PLANNING
Doctor or Nurse
We offer advice and help
with all aspects of Family Planning and preparing for pregnancy. You will be treated discreetly and sympathetically even if
you feel shy, embarrassed or in a difficult situation.
HOLIDAY VACCINATIONS Nurse
If you are going abroad and think that you
may require Vaccinations then please ask at the Reception desk for a "Holiday Vaccination Form" or print it fom the link below
and hand it in to the Surgery.
This will enable one of our Nurses to determine
which Vaccinines you may require for your particular destination as well as advise on any fees payable
